Something to think about after a long workout like FGB when you go home and decide what best to feed yourself:
Here is a qoute from Elmer M. Nelson M.D. who at the time was the Head of the F.D.A. “Division of Nutrition” This was in the Washington Post, Oct 26th 1949, so it was a while ago, however this culture still dominates much of Government, Corporate Nutrition and even Higher Learning.
“It is wholly unscientific to state that a well-fed body is more able to resist disease than a less well-fed body. My overall opinion is that there hasn’t been enough experimentation to prove dietary deficiencies make one more susceptible to disease.”
So think about what you hear, read and are told. Listen to everything, trust no one.
