I thought it was just considered a poor choice of protein. I think 4 blocks is 12 bacon strips.

Looks like a trick question. Depends on 1) whether it’s thin, medium, or thick 2) type of bacon…cured, uncured, smoked, Canadian, pork or turkey, etc. I see charts showing everything from .5 grams to 4 grams per strip depending on type of bacon it is. Since 4 blocks of protein is 36 grams protein (1 block protein = 9 grams protein) the number of strips of bacon in 4 blocks of protein could be anywhere from 9 to 72. Assuming a 2 gram protein average per strip of bacon, I’d go with 18 strips.
